Bookkeeping & Accounting Support
Books that are current, reconciled and ready the moment a bank, funder or BURS asks to see them.

Know what your business is actually doing
Plenty of businesses only look at their numbers once a year, when someone external demands them. By then the receipts are scattered, the bank statements do not agree with anything, and a real decision cannot be made from the result.
We keep the books monthly instead. Transactions recorded, accounts reconciled, records maintained in order — so the figures are there when a funder asks, and so you can see for yourself whether a month was profitable while you can still do something about it.
If you are behind, we can catch up prior periods first and then move you onto a monthly cycle.
What we handle for you
Monthly bookkeeping
Income and expenses captured every month, categorised consistently, so the picture builds as the year goes rather than all at once.
Financial record maintenance
Invoices, receipts and statements organised and retained properly, so nothing has to be reconstructed from memory.
Preparation of financial information and reports
Clear summaries of where the business stands — in a form a bank, a funder or you can actually read.
Reconciliations
Bank, supplier and customer accounts agreed against your records, so differences are found early instead of at year end.
General business financial administration
The routine financial admin that eats a business owner’s week — handled, so you can spend that time selling.
Behind on your books?
Catch-up work is common and nothing to be embarrassed about. Send us what you have and we will scope it.
What good books unlock
Bank facilities and overdrafts
No bank extends credit against a shoebox of receipts. Reconciled records are the entry requirement.
Tenders and funding applications
Most applications ask for financial information up front. Having it ready is often the difference between applying and missing the window.
Straightforward tax filings
When the books are current, the tax position follows from them instead of being estimated under pressure.
Decisions based on fact
Which jobs actually made money, where the costs went, whether you can afford to hire. Numbers answer that; instinct guesses.
Bookkeeping FAQ
My records are a mess. Can you still help?
Yes, and it is one of the most common ways clients start with us. We work through what exists, rebuild the periods we can, and tell you honestly where gaps remain. From there you move onto a monthly cycle and it does not happen again.
Do I need to bring physical documents?
Not necessarily. Clear photos or scans of invoices, receipts and bank statements are usually enough, sent by WhatsApp or email. If you would rather hand over originals, we can arrange that.
Is this the same as auditing?
No. We provide bookkeeping and accounting support — keeping the records, reconciling accounts and preparing financial information. A statutory audit is a separate engagement performed by a registered auditor. We will tell you plainly if what you need falls outside our scope.
How often will I see my numbers?
Monthly, as standard. We will agree at the outset what reports you want and in what form, so you receive something you will actually read.
What does it cost?
It depends on transaction volume and the state of your records. We quote a monthly fee after looking at a sample month, and any catch-up work is quoted separately so you can see both figures clearly.
